Privacy Policy

These terms relate to the paid-for on-line training services supplied to you through the PMA website (the “Online Course”) and the paid-for offline courses conducted at the branches of PMA and should be read in conjunction with our General Terms & Conditions above which shall also apply save where they are inconsistent with these terms.

Prices and payment

Payment in full is required at the time of registration. This consists of a tuition fee and a non-refundable registration fee. Your order is an offer to purchase Offline/Online Course Services from us. The Offline/Online Course Service will be made available to you once your payment has been authorized and the course session has started. There will be no contract of any kind between you and PMA unless and until you make authorized payment for the Offline/Online Course Service. At any point up until then, we may decline to supply the Offline/Online Course Service to you without giving any reason. The fee for the Offline/Online Course Service is calculated as per the published rates of PMA and payable in advance of the course start date as set out on PMA. The Company shall be under no obligation to provide the Offline/Online Course Service until the fee has been paid. The payments shall be made in advance before the start of the classes in the subsequent months. Your credit/ debit card/net banking/other banking details are not handled by PMA. All payment and all credit card handling is through the third party. We do not store any credit card details. Authority for payment must be given at the time of placing your order.

Delivery

The process of delivery involves a) Sign-up by Student b) Technical Help for Trial c) Payment d) Course Start The Student is expected to sign up through the online form supplied to the student. The submission of form shall be deemed as willingness from the student to join PMA Online Music Class.For Offline classes, the student/parent shall physically sign a form made available at the respective branch. For Online Classes: The Technical team would be in touch with the student to help setup for a trial run. On successful trial set up, Student shall choose the requisite course and pay online. Within 48 hours of receipt of payment of fees (during the working week), a confirmation email will be sent to the student acknowledging payment and successful enrolment in the course. Within one week before the announced course start date student will be notified by email of an online URL on where to join for course.Student will be required to use theirusername/id and password for logging into the site and accessing the course content. The course shall be conducted through a third-party online application. It is mandatory for the student to have a good internet connection, a laptop/iPAD/Desktop/Mobile Phone, mic, headphone and the chosen music instrument. Maintenance of proper hardware and software required for learning will be student’s responsibility. All expenses towards setting up this shall be borne by the student. For Offline Classes: Based on the batch days/time accepted during the application process, the student is expected to attend the classes at the respective branch on such days/time. For Online & Offline Classes: It is not possible to pause your course or take a holiday midway through your course. If a student takes a break from the program, then access to the course materials of the program will expire 30 days from the last scheduled class of the current batch. Batches once fixed can only be changed on availability of an alternative slot at the discretion of PMA.

Using the Online Course Service

In consideration of the Fees paid by you, we grant to you a limited, non-transferable, non-exclusive licence to use the Course Materials and the software in respect of the Online Course for the sole purpose of completing the Online Course and / or attending the Online Live Classes. PMA warrants that it has the right to provide the Online Course Service and will use all reasonable skill and care in making the Online Course Service available to you and in ensuring its availability. Because of the nature of the internet, errors and omissions do occur and PMA does not give any other warranties in respect of the Online Course Service. PMA is continually seeking to improve the Online Course Services. PMA reserve the right, at its discretion, to make changes to any part of any Online Course Service provided that it does not materially reduce its content or functionality. In the event that PMA withdraws or is permanently unable to deliver a particular Online Course Service a partial refund will be given covering the portion of the course that remains undelivered.

Posting of content

Some Online Course Services may allow you to post content to the PMA website including asking questions about the course, posting completed assignments, and taking part in discussion boards. All content which you provide or upload to our website shall be subject to the relevant provisions of our General Terms & Conditions.

Fair use policy

We operate a ‘fair use’ policy to protect the quality of our Online Course Services. If we believe your use of our Online Course Service is taking up excessive bandwidth or your use of our Online Course Service is adversely affecting the provision of the service (or any part of it) to other users, or other users’ enjoyment of the service, we reserve the right to manage or regulate your usage of the Online Course Service. This may include temporarily suspending your user account and/or access to the Online Course Service.

Specific conditions to Offline Classes

Admission: PMA reserves the right to admission to students. A non-refundable one time registration fee shall be charged. The Fees shall be collected quarterly in advance as per PMA’s tariff from time to time. Payment of Fees: Fees shall be collected by cash or cheque or online. However, no postdated cheque shall be accepted. Late payment of fees shall attract 5% penal interest per month. Attendance: Regular attendance is an essential part of every course. Students are expected to maintain punctuality and PMA will be unable to make up time for students who arrive late for their lesson. Absence: No make-up classes will be offered for students who abstain from attending the classes. No refunds will be given for missed classes. In case a student is unable to attend more than 3 consecutive classes, they are expected to inform PMA in advance. Students who are absent for more than 5 classes without information shall be removed from the rolls of PMA and they will have to seek re-admission, by paying a re-admission fee, as per rules of PMA. Substitutions: PMA reserves the right to provide a substitute teacher if the regularly scheduled teacher is unable to teach classes. In case PMA cannot arrange a substitute, any missed classes will be made up at the expense of PMA. Course Materials, Books and Instruments: For certain lessons, course materials, books and instruments may be required in order for the student to obtain the best possible learning instruction. It is the responsibility of the Parent or Student to purchase required course materials, books and instruments when required. PMA can also help in getting the right course materials, books and instruments. Photo/Media Release: PMA is hereby granted permission to take photographs or video of the students to use in brochures, websites, posters, advertisements and other promotional materials intended for PMA’s use. Permission is also hereby granted for PMA to copyright such photographs in its name. Release of Liability: PMA accepts no liability or responsibility for any injury sustained by the student that arises from participation in any activity connected with PMA. PMA also accepts no liability or responsibility for any minors, siblings, friends or relatives of the students who attends and/or wait at PMA for the students having music lessons. Food, Mobile Phones and other Valuables: Students are asked not to bring any food, Mobile Phones or valuables to the class. Videography inside the premises is strictly prohibited. Damage to Property: Charges may be billed to be students/parents if the students are found responsible to damage to any property of PMA School including music instruments due to mishandling of the same. PMA reserves the right to exclude students whose behaviour is disruptive and who do not obey the policies and procedures laid down by PMA from time to time.

No commercial use

All our Offline/Online Course Services are available for non-commercial use only. PMA reserves the right to refuse orders from businesses that we consider are for commercial concerns. You may not re-sell or make available to any third party the Course Services without the prior written consent of PMA.
